Enhancing Livelihoods of Vulnerable Households in Panjwayee District of Kandahar
Initiating the Distribution of Dairy Goats to 100 Families in Panjwayee District, Kandahar
We are delighted to announce the commencement of a significant intervention aimed at improving the livelihoods of vulnerable households in Panjwayee district of Kandahar. As part of our ongoing commitment to combat poverty and promote sustainable livelihoods, the distribution of dairy goats has been initiated.
Under this intervention, each of the 100 selected families will receive a dairy goat, which will serve as a valuable asset in their journey towards economic self-sufficiency. The distribution process began on [25th March] and will continue until the 2nd of April, ensuring that each family is provided with the necessary resources and support to effectively care for and benefit from their new livestock.
By empowering these households with dairy goats, we aim to create opportunities for income generation, improve nutrition, and enhance overall household resilience. This initiative is aligned with our vision to make a lasting and positive impact in southern Afghanistan, particularly in Panjwayee district, where vulnerable communities face significant challenges.
We express our gratitude to all the stakeholders and partners who have supported us in this endeavor. Together, we will continue to work tirelessly towards uplifting the livelihoods of the most vulnerable households, fostering economic empowerment, and contributing to the overall development of the region.
A brighter future awaits as we remain dedicated to our mission of improving lives and creating sustainable change.
